Helen Taves

Helen K. Taves, age 86, W3880 Taves Road, Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Helen was born October 7, 1926 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Edward and Mary (LeTendre) Van Norman. She married Duane L. Taves on October 25, 1947 in Tomahawk. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed crocheting and taking care of her family. Survivors include: Husband, Duane L. Taves, Tomahawk Children, Nancy (John) Schneider, Wausau, Jean Schwartzbauer, Prairie Farm, Joan (Ken) Pagel, Tomahawk, Duane (Sue) Taves, Tomahawk, Carl (Barb) Taves, Tomahawk Brother Edward Van Norman, Calumet City, Illinois Helen is further survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers - Joseph, Earl, Vernon, and Lawrence Van Norman, sister - Marian Hoff, and one grandson - Todd Winter. All are invited to a celebration of Helen's life, which will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the home of Helen and Duane, W3880 Taves Road in Tomahawk.
