Henry Donald Lemmer

Henry D. Lemmer Jr., age 71 of Hazelhurst, WI died on Saturday, October 6, 2012. He was born on January 31, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI the only son of the late Henry and Anna (nee Berlick) Lemmer Sr. He attended Grade School and High School in Tomahawk, WI. On August 27, 1960 he married Margaret Mackiewicz in Langlade, WI. Henry was employed by Asphlundh Tree Experts until he retired in 1990. Henry and Margaret enjoyed spending the winters in Arizona. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. Henry enjoyed taking his two sons Jeff and Robert to the local hunting shack for deer hunting. He also enjoyed fishing and ice fishing at his “honey hole”. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Lemmer of Hazelhurst, WI and Son: Jeffery Scott (Tammy) Lemmer of Madison, WI and Daughter: Sandra Jean (Barry) Haff of Rhinelander, WI and Daughters-in-law: Jodi Lemmer and Linda Lemmer. Further survived by 6 grandchildren: Joshua and Jenna Haff; Ashley and Heather Lemmer and Tyler and Travis Lemmer and by 4 Great Grandchildren: Jaiden and Brody Haff and Connor and Kegan Reinke and by 3 Sisters: Alice Carey of West Allis, WI; Marge (Al) Grall of Muskego, WI and Gloria (Dave) Funk of Milwaukee, WI and by nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Lemmer and by 1 Sister, LaVerne Tesch and his Son, Robert Daniel Lemmer. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 11th at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI with visitation from 9:30 AM till time of service.
