Ina "Susie" Ruplinger, age 91, Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston.
Ina was born May 1, 1920 in Springfield, Tennessee, the daughter of Allie and Lena (Pitt) Martin. She married Ralph Ruplinger on March 14, 1943 at Fort Benning military base in Georgia. Ina and Ralph split their time as residents of both Tomahawk and Springfield, Tennessee. Ina was employed as a Nurse's Aide at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk for 13 years. She especially enjoyed spending time in the Sacred Heart Nursery. Ina and Ralph traveled across the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean. Along with traveling, Ina enjoyed old country music and Army reunions. Ina was especially proud of the fact that she lived to see her great grandchildren, who meant the world to her. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk and the Oddfellows.

Ina is further survived by 7 grandchildren: Jason (Jessi) Ruplinger, Tara (Brian) Tehako, Misty Truelove, Ryan (Kristi) Andrus, Gerod (Kelli)Truelove, Victor Krueger, and Sonja Krueger, 8 great grandchildren: Cody Andrus, Sevin Tehako, Kaitlin Ruplinger, Jacob Truelove, Isaak Truelove, Ethan Andrus, Elijah Truelove, and Liam Ruplinger.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ina "Susie" Ruplinger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Palestine Cemetery in Springfield, Tennessee.
