Iris Robb

Iris R. Robb, 89, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Golden Living-Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk. Iris was born on August 20, 1923 in Rockford, Illinois to the late George and Lois (Darrah) Nelson. She married Henry "Hank" Robb, also in Rockford, Illinois, he passed away in 1988. Iris lived most of her life in the Rockford area, she was employed at the Swedish American Hospital in Rockford for many years. She was a former member of the VFW Auxiliary in Rockford. Iris moved to the Tomahawk area about 15 years ago to be closer to family. Survivors include: Daughter, Roberta Robb Scottsdale, Arizona Brother, George "Wiley" (JoAnn) Nelson Florida Niece, Deb (Dave) Duncan Tomahawk Nephew, George (JoAnn) Nelson Rockford, IL Iris is further survived by great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Joyce Nelson. Private graveside services for Iris Robb will be held on Wednesday, February 27th, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rockford, Illinois. Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
