ISABEL GOOD
Isabel Mary Good, 95, life long resident of Prentice passed away on Friday, February 17, at the Rib Lake Health Care. She was born in Prentice on August 13, 1921, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Keller) Rogers. She was a 1940 graduate of the Prentice High School. She was married to Paul Good in Prentice in 1944. She was employed as a typesetter and reporter for the PRENTICE NEWS right out of high school, and worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps planting trees. She later became a stay at home mom and also cared for her mother. She later helped take care of all of her grandchildren. She was a member of the Prentice Congregational Church. She enjoyed everything outdoors, feeding the birds, gardening, berry picking, walking her dogs, and being in the woods.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Dan) Kosterman, Prentice, and Mary Meives, Ogema; by one son, Mark (Karen) Good, Gleason, WI; by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; by one sister-in-law, Linda Good, Medford; by two brother-in-laws, George Good, Tomah and Clarence Fox, Mukwonago; and by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, on July 9, 1967; by two brother, Allen and Eugene Rogers and their wives; by two son-in-laws, Jerry Drexler and Al Meives; and by her only cousin, Nancy Moyer.
A celebration of Isabel’s life will be held at D’s Burger and Bowl in Prentice at Noon on Saturday, February 25. Friends may call there from 11:00 A.M. until Noon on Saturday. Inurnment will be in the Prentice Cemetery in Prentice.
