Isabelle George

Isabelle E George, age 90 of Tomahawk, formerly of Adams-Friendship, passed away at Ascension Good Samaritan Hospital of congestive heart failure on July 15th, 2018. She was a resident of Pinecrest Nursing Home in Merrill for the past two years.

Isabelle was born on July 31, 1927 in Gleason, Tennessee to Ruby Mae Higgins & Earl Lomax. She married Harold Williams on August 11, 1943 and later divorced July 23, 1975. She then married Paul Raymond George on November 25, 1977. Paul preceded her in death on May 2, 2002. Isabelle retired from Castle Rock Container in 1981. She then worked as a caregiver through the hospital for a few years.

Isabelle is survived by her 9 children – James (Dorothy) Williams, of Milton, Judith (Walter) Munz, of Tomahawk, David (Donna) Williams, of Janesville, Michael (Kathleen) Williams, of Mesa, AZ, Dennis (Monica) Williams, of Friendship, Peggy (Mark) Bond, of Adams, Gary Williams, of Friendship, Debbie Williams, of Friendship & Daniel Williams, of Portage; 23 Grandchildren, 49 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Grandchild. She is further survived by 4 sisters – Paula (John) Klein, of Friendship, Carol Eineichner, of Muskego, Dorothy Kovista, of Superior & Norma Cekan, of Friendship; 2 Sisters-in-law – Arlene Fallos, of Rib Lake & Ida Mae (Kent) Bacon, of Winona, MN; Brother-in-law – Edwin (Lois) Williams, of Friendship; and her step-children – Jim (Gerry) George, of Princeton, Paul Thomas George, of Wisconsin Rapids, Bob George, of Fairbanks, AK, John George, Washington, DC, Kathy & Barbara, of Neenah Menasha.

She is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Isabelle is preceded in death by her daughter – Diane Sobeck; husband – Paul George; ex-husband – Harold Williams; in-laws – Ray & Leila Mae Williams; mother – Ruby Fallos; step-father – Bill Fallos; 3 brothers – Bill, Mike & Claude Fallos; 2 sisters – Ann Rundle & Gloria Ball; brothers-in-law – Alan Eineichner & Richard Cekan; and 3 great grandchildren.

In accordance with Isy’s wishes, there will be no services held. Burial of Isy & Paul George will take place at a later date in Adams-Friendship.

In lieu of flowers or monetary gift, please donate to your local veteran’s organization in honor of Isabelle.
