Jack Clauser, age 87, passed away on January 31st, 2025 at Seasons of Life Hospice in Woodruff, WI. Jack was born October 15, 1937 in Monmouth Illinois to Phillip and Alma Clauser. He graduated from Watseka High School. Jack enlisted in the Army in 1960 and was stationed in Washington D.C. where he met and married Carol Christian. They lived in Frederick, MD until moving to Appleton, Wisconsin in 1968 with their 3 daughters. There he worked as a Sales Engineer specializing in pumps for the paper industry. Jack and Carol bought their property near Tomahawk in 1980, and retired there in 2002.  Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, and exploring new places. He could often be found drawing out an idea he had and designed their homes in Appleton and on Lake Nokomis. He was a lifelong Cub fan. He loved life on the lake and enjoyed a good martini.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol (Christian) Clauser; daughters, Anne Clauser Madison, WI; Mary Clauser, Minneapolis, MN and Jennifer (Cully) Ekstrom, Minneapolis, MN; grandson, Dimitri Clauser, Minneapolis, MN; brother-in-law, John Christian, Santa Rosa Beach, FL and sister-in-law, Barbara Clauser, Sibley, MO.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Philip Clauser and Alma (Friebele) Clauser Nalley, and brother, Donn Clauser.

The world has lost a good man.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nokomis and Tomahawk Food Pantries are encouraged.

Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Krueger-Nimsgern Funeral Home, Tomahawk with Chaplin Michele Rein officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at noon.
