Jack W. Lorenz, 92, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully at his cabin in Phillips on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was born June 20, 1929, in Sheboygan to the late Herman Jr. and Ida (DeKarske) Lorenz.
After Jack graduated from North High School, he continued to take some college courses. He then proudly joined the Army and served from 1951 to 1952 during the Korean Conflict.
On August 6, 1955, he was united in marriage to Carol Grunewald, together they raised four children: Tim Lorenz, Scott Lorenz, Amy Menzer, and Ann Lorenz all of Sheboygan. They celebrated 60 years of marriage. Carol preceded him in death on September 30, 2015.
Jack worked at the Windmill Woodworking in Sheboygan Falls, retiring in 1997.
He was a talented cabinet maker and wood worker making many beautiful things for his family and friends. He loved his family and spending time with them creating cherished memories. Jack enjoyed his cabin Up North, fishing, hunting, and golfing.
Jack is further survived by his grandchildren, Aaron (Shelby) Menzer and Tyler (Emma) Menzer; great-granddaughter, Ashley; son-in-law, Mike Menzer; brother, Jim (Dianne) Lorenz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Amy Menzer; and brother, Donald (Delores) Lorenz.
Per Jack’s wishes, no services will be held. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home and Bullhorn Chapels are assisting the family.
