Jacob Schmidt

Jacob Schmidt, age 94 of Arbor Vitae, WI died on Wednesday, February 27th at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Jake was born on January 12, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Georg and Kate (Flegler) Schmidt. He married his wife Virginia on May 17, 1947 and she preceded him in death on December 15, 2001.

He is survived by his children John and Joanne and by grandchildren: Brad, Dana, Kim, Tania, Dione, Brian and David and by great grandchildren: Allen, Rebekah, Miles, Sammy, Brandon and Tylor and by 2 sisters Rachael and Caroline and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Jake was preceded in death by his wife Virginia and by daughter Kathie and his brothers: John, Hank, George and sisters: Mary, Katie and Eva.

Funeral Services for Jake will be held on Wednesday, March 6th at 11:00 am at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation from 10:00 am till time of service. Burial will take place in the spring at Minocqua Memorial Cemetery.
