James J. Brown, age 78, of Tomahawk passed away unexpectedly on September, September 25, 2021 at Sacred Heart Hospital
James was born on July 13, 1943 in Milwaukee. He was married to Carol Brown on June 27, 1964 in Sturgeon Bay. Carol & Jim lived in Mukwonago for many years. Jim worked at Master Lock in Milwaukee. In 1999, Jim & Carol moved into their dream home on Virgin Lake. Jim and Carol worked at Johnson Level Tool and Die in Tomahawk for a few years before retiring.
Jim loved playing with his model trains. He spent many hours fixing and restoring old trains that needed a lot of tender loving care. He created a massive train layout in his basement. Each scene told a story from years past. Jim also loved fishing on his lake in the backyard.
James is survived by his daughter – Michele (Elliott) Kressin of Kaukauna and three grandchildren – Collin, Jonathan & Audrey. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife – Carol.
Jim knew Jesus, as his Savior, and has joined his loving wife Carol in paradise.
The family will be celebrating Jim’s life privately.
