James C. Mueller, age 71, of W5846 Hwy A, Tomahawk, passed away Friday June 18, 2010 at his home. He was born October 6, 1938 in Greenwood, WI to Raymond and Luella Mueller. Due to his mother's illness, he went to live with the Henry Fisher family in Spencer, WI, where he was raised from the age of 2. In 1954 he moved to Tripoli, WI where he graduated high school. In 1960, Jim joined the U.S. Army and served in the Korean war until his honorable discharge. In 1968, he married Leslie A. Mueller (Hales). The couple resided in Tomahawk, where Jim began a 30+ year career as a technician at the Tomahawk Sports Center. Jim retired in 1998, opening JM Service, which he operated out of his home in Tomahawk until his death. Jim was a hard working husband and father who in his spare time enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and shooting pool. After retiring, he mostly enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and playing with his granddaughters. Survivors include his wife, Leslie of Tomahawk, daughter Vicki of Big Lake, MN, and son Rick (Michele) and granddaughters Ashley and Kellie, all of White Lake, MI. Visitation will be held at Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk on Tuesday, June 22 at 12:00 Noon with Memorial Services to follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Gary Uttech to officiate. A Military Tribute Service will take place immediately before Memorial Services
