James R. Cain

James Richard Cain, age 87 of Woodruff, WI died on Tuesday, March 27th at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Jim was born on November 4, 1930 in Aurora, IL the son of Delbert and Daisy (nee Main) Cain. Jim attended and graduated from East Aurora High School and Aurora University. He married Carrie Poole on July 22, 1949.

He was involved with Muskie Inc., Muskie Woodcarvers of Arbor Vitae and a lifetime member of the NRA. Jim was a talented woodcarver, loved fishing and an avid pistol target shooter.

Jim is survived by his wife, Carrie and Children; Judith L. Cain and Dennis R. (Renee) Cain and by his beloved Grandchildren; Jonathon T. (Stephanie) Babula, Mathew J. Babula and Jacob Been. He is further survived by a niece and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; Daisy and Delbert Cain and by his sister, Virginia Homerding and brother, Robert Cain.

Memorial Gathering for Jim will be held on Saturday, March 31st from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM. Inurnment will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.
