Jane Russo

Jane Ann Russo (Hrovat) passed away peacefully on May 26, 2019 at the age of 73.  She was born March 3, 1946 to Frank and Dolores (Strey) Hrovat in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, both of whom preceded her in death.

Jane lived the early years of her life throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and enjoyed her last decades living the life of leisure in Tomahawk, Wisconsin.  When she wasn’t bragging about her four grandchildren, she lived life to the fullest while gardening, reading, cooking, bowling, golfing, snowmobiling, ATVing and relaxing on the pontoon boat. 

She is survived by her husband, John; her daughter, Michelle (Phil) Doney and their children Nicholas and Robyn; and by her son, Bryon (Angie) and their daughters, Lauren and Sara.  She is further survived by many, many dear family and friends.

The Memorial Service for Jane Russo will take place at 12:00PM on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Deacon Dave Bablick will officiate. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at 12:00PM.

A Celebration of Jane’s life will be held on Saturday, June 15 beginning at 10:00 am with a time of remembrance at 12:00 pm at Mukwonago United Church of Christ, S93 W30740 Hwy NN, Mukwonago, Wisconsin. 

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at Milestone Senior Living in Tomahawk and the Ascension at Home Hospice team in Rhinelander for the incredible care they provided Jane in the last years of her journey. 

Memorials may be made in Jane’s name to Milestone Senior Living in Tomahawk, Ascension at Home Hospice in Rhinelander, or The Alzheimer’s Association.
