Jane F. Saggau

Jane F. Saggau, age 64, passed away June 10, 2016 at Friendly Village Nursing Home in Rhinelander under the care of Ministry Hospice. Jane was born August 17, 1951 in Denison, Iowa to Robert J. Sr.and Marjorie (Hays) Saggau. She grew up in Mequon, Wisconsin and attended Dominican High School, UW Oshkosh, and Cardinal Stritch College. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Survivors include her siblings: Barbara Saggau, Wichita, Kansas; Tom (Mary) Saggau, St. Louis, MO; and Catherine (Frank) Sorrenti, Milwaukee, WI. Jane is further survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary, and two brothers, Robert, Jr., and David. A memorial Mass for Jane Saggau will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Rev. Patrick McConnell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Phelps Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m.
