Janet H. Panzer, age 83, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Golden Living – Golden Age Nursing Home, under the care of AseraCare Hospice. Janet was born on March 3, 1933 in South Milwaukee, to Einar Sr. & Emma (Wendt) Ingman. She was married to Alvin Panzer Sr. on November 21, 1953. Janet worked on their farm in Kewaskum, alongside of her husband, for many years. Over the years, Janet worked outside of the home for an insurance company and a payroll clerk for Regal Ware Inc, in Kewaskum. She changed career paths and became a CNA. She worked at Cedar Lake Nursing Home in West Bend, and later in Rhinelander at Friendly Village Nursing Home & Golden Age Nursing Home in Tomahawk. After retiring from the farm, Alvin and Janet moved back home to the Northwoods. Janet had a passion for cake decorating. Over the years, she has made numerous birthday cakes, wedding cakes & baptism cakes. Janet was also very skilled with her hands; always gardening, knitting, crocheting, sewing & ceramics. When her children were younger, she was a Sunday School Teacher, a Scouts & 4H Leader. In Tomahawk, Janet was the Town Clerk of Nokomis for 13 years. For her last years, she resided in Golden Age Nursing Home, Tomahawk, where her family visited every day. Janet is survived by her husband - Alvin C. Panzer, of Tomahawk; her two daughters – Janice (Dave) Seiser, of Merrill & Jeanne (Bill) Gessler, of Harshaw; one son – Robert (Kathy) Schreffler, of Kewaskum; a daughter in law – Patricia Panzer, of Campbellsport; & 2 brothers – Ted (Doris) Ingman, of Tomahawk & Larry (Betty) Ingman, of Tomahawk. She is further survived by many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Einar Sr & Emma Ingman; one son, Alvin Jr.; one son in law – James Hanson Jr.; 2 Brothers – Einar Jr. & Robert Sr.; and 3 Sisters in law – Mardelle, Mary & Vera. Janet will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, in the town of Skanawan. A Private Graveside Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedar Lake Home, American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
