Janice Hollinger

Janice E. Hollinger, 73, formerly of Phillips passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, under palliative care surrounded by her loving family at Marshfield Hospital in Marshfield, WI. She was born on March 19, 1950, in Phillips to Joseph and Laura (Johnston) 
Kozak.

Janice attended Phillips High School and graduated with the class of 1968. Following high school, Janice would marry her beloved life-long husband, Raymond (Ray) Hollinger. She would go on to work as a mail carrier and work the remaining 35 years until retirement at Phillips Medisize.

In Janice's free time, you could find her working outdoors, whether that was refinishing antique woodwork, landscaping around the house, or making sure her fellow deer and bird friends alike had plenty of food for the given day. When she wasn't working outside, you'd find Janice working on her many puzzles and bead artwork that she took great pride in making. She loved to spend time with her grandkids such as setting up the pool for them in the summer or getting their help on her projects. She enjoyed her occasional casino trips with friends and family.  Prior to Janice's husband passing, you'd find them camping quite frequently, often times with grandchildren in tow.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Milam of Marshfield, and Eric (Jes) of Phillips; five grandchildren, Collin, Dylan, Katelyn, Breanna, and Evan;
1 great-grandchild, Clara; and brothers, Keith (Jamie) Kozak, Ken (Jana) Kozak.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents; brother, Richard Kozak; and sister, Jayne Krautkramer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at St. Therese of Lisieux
Catholic Church, 655 S. Lake Ave, Phillips, WI, 54555, with Father Lourdu Mandu officiating. Visitation
will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until the time of the service at the church. Heindl-Nimsgern
Funeral Home is assisting the family.
