Jean M Reimann

Jean Marie Reimann (nee Bachmann), age 94 of Phillips, WI passed away on January 2nd at Marshfield Medical Center in Park Falls, WI.

She was born March 1, 1930 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Emil and Margaret Bachmann.

Jean was originally from Chicago and moved to Phillips, WI permanently 25 years ago when Les retired. She referred to Phillips as “God’s Country” and loved being in the north woods all these years.  Jean had cousins and friends and always was there to help someone.

She was kind and thoughtful to all she crossed paths with. Many friends were not only from Chicago but also Phillips over her lifetime. They purchased their little cabin in the woods on their honeymoon and so many trips and connections were made to Phillips.

Jean is from Irish heritage and she wore her “green” proudly. She celebrated more for St. Patrick’s Day than she did any other holiday.  Jean fought like a warrior over the past 20 years of her life with illnesses that she fought through and won. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say, no matter how hard the day was.

She will surely be missed by many especially her family.  

Beloved wife of Les Reimann for 70 blessed years. The love they shared was admirable. Dearest daughter of the late Emil and Margaret Bachmann and daughter in law of the late Carl and Antoinette Reimann. Devoted mother of Linda (late Timothy) Geldmyer and the late Carl Reimann. Adoring Grandmother of Ryan (Starr) Geldmyer and dearest great grandmother of Jack, Cambry and Delaney Geldmyer. Sister-in-law of Joanne (John) Hertlein. Jean adored her family.  

Upon her wishes cremation took place and private family services will be held.
