Jean R. Theiler, age 84, 635 E. Park Ave., Tomahawk, died peacefully at her home Sunday, July 29, 2007.
Jean was born July 10, 1923 in Newport News, Virginia to Dr. R. Cowles Taylor and Lucille Bland Taylor. She married Ralph "Bud" Theiler on October 6, 1945 in Newport News, Virginia; he passed away in 1968. Jean was raised in the Newport News, Virginia area. She attended St. Catherine Episcopal Prep School for Girls in Richmond, Virginia. She later attended Holton Arms Junior College in Washington, D.C. She moved to the Tomahawk area in 1949. She enjoyed golf, Fawn Lake gatherings, playing Bridge, and spending time with her family.

13 Grandchildren Pete, Sam, Oscar, Carolyn, Katie, Casey, Chris, Kyle, Ryan, Jacqueline, Clay, Robbie, and Danny
3 Great Grandchildren Jacob, Max, and Cecelia
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jean Theiler will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2007 from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
