Jeanne P Stuart

Jeanne P. Stuart (nee Gensheimer), 84, of Palm City, Florida,and Lac du Flambeau, WI passed away at Season's of Life Hospice, Woodruff, Wisconsin on August 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Robert E. Stuart. "J and "RE" shared 47 years of a storybook marriage. Jeanne was born in Hammond, Indiana to Gene and Charlotte (nee Donovan) Gensheimer on September 10, 1928. She attended Hammond High School and continued her education at Frances Shriver Academy in Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Jeanne and Bob were married on September 27, 1952 in Hammond, Indiana. She was employed at IBM and the US Treasury before beginning her family. Jeanne was and remained actively involved in activities at Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club in Palm City. She and Bob played in many golf events together at both Harbour Ridge YCC and Timber Ridge CC in Minocqua, Wisconsin. Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Roberta "Robbie" (Bob) Davidson of Geneva, Illinois, and her son, Robert Randall "Randy" (Roseanne) Stuart of Carmel, Indiana; four grandchildren, Ryan Davidson, Kathryn Stuart, Whitney (Josh) Bickel and RJ (Lauren) Stuart; and two great grandchildren, Taylor and Jack. Over the years "J" (aka Grammy, GG) accumulated a vast assortment of owl collectibles. "J's" calm demeanor, quick wit, and loving manner will be missed. A private family ceremony will be held at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel on August 6, 2013 followed by burial at The Cemetery of the Pines in Boulder Junction. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Season's of Life Hospice House, Woodruff, Wisconsin or a cancer charity of your choice.
