Jennie Martin

Jennie Ann Martin, 78, of 11189 Friendly Drive, Tomahawk passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital, Tomahawk. Jennie Ann was born on July 12, 1934 in L'Anse, MI to Edward & Genevieve (Coskie) Pelon. She married Joseph T. Martin Sr. on January 8, 1954 in L'Anse, MI; he passed away in 2007. Jennie formerly operated Boomba Bar in Tomahawk for several years. She enjoyed playing a variety of instruments, casino trips, flower gardening, cooking, canning, fishing and crafts, but most of all, she enjoyed being with her family. Survivors include: Sons, Joseph (Nancy) Martin Parrotsville, TN Michael (Debra) Martin Lawrenceville, GA Daughters, Dianna (David) Polinske Tomahawk Gina Martin Marshfield Sisters, Linda (Joseph) Ellenich Pelkie, MI Rita (David) Hahn Merrill Marilyn (Gene) Ross Baraga, MI Mona (Al) Whitaker Tomahawk Brother, Jerry (Jody) Pelon Baraga, MI Jennie Ann is further survived by 3 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe and a daughter, Laura, 1 granddaughter, 2 brothers and a sister. The Funeral Service will take place at Krueger Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2:00PM. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, in Tomahawk.
