Jeremy David Diermeier, 44, of Tomahawk, WI passed away on Sunday, August 20th, 2023.
Jeremy was born on December 7, 1978 in the town of New London, the son of Jack and Donna (Beschta) Diermeier. Jeremy was the second of two sons. He attended elementary and high school in Shiocton, graduating in 1997, where he made many life-long friends and was a highly decorated athlete and scholar. During his youth, Jeremy received a multitude of awards and recognition for his high achievement and excellence. Examples include Perfect Attendance, President of the National Honors Society, Prom King, Football MVP, Distinguished Academics, Mathematics League, Distinguished Athlete, Band Honor Roll and more. Jeremy was most fortunate to attend college at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with several of his best friends where he earned his bachelors degree in Construction Management, graduating in 2002. During his college years, Jeremy participated in extracurricular actives and had the pleasure of working with Bo Ryan as a member of the racquetball team and exercising his social muscle with buddies as a member of Alpha Delpha SeaWorld.
After college, Jeremy followed in his dad’s footsteps and started his own construction company. Jeremy met Ashley Beyer in 2007 and in 2008, the couple moved to northern WI so Jeremy could work alongside his dad as a General Contractor for SL Builders, taking ownership of the business in 2021. Jeremy was blessed with more amazing ‘northern friends’ who he loved like family. Jeremy and Ashley were united in marriage on July 4, 2015. Together, they have two amazing children, Blake (12) and Alexis (5). Jeremy was incredibly talented, smart and humble. He was an avid sports fan and outdoorsman. He loved cheering on all Wisconsin athletics, hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with his many friends and family members. Jeremy was a wonderful, loving father, who enjoyed teaching his children and passing on his skills and passion. Jeremy was involved in coaching Blake’s baseball and football teams and taught both kids to waterski. Jeremy was an easy-going, kind man, who greeted everyone with a friendly smile, was always willing to offer a helping hand and knew how to have a good time.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Ashley Diermeier; children Blake Diermeier and Alexis Diermeier; father, Jack Diermeier; stepmother, Tracy Diermeier; brother, Jason (Elisa) Diermeier; stepbrother Trevor Ringwelski; grandfather, Art Beschta; mother and father in-law Ralph and Shirley Beyer, many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and an abundance of friends who miss him dearly.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Donna Diermeier and loving grandparents Shirley Beschta, Gerald Diermeier and Audrey Diermeier.
