Jeremy "Jake" Andreae

October 11, 1975 — July 18, 2021

Jeremy "Jake" Andreae, 45, unexpectedly went to be with our Lord and Savior July 18, 2021. He was born October 11, 1975, in Medford, WI, to Kendall and Robin (Uran) Andreae of Ogema, WI.
Jake married Jessica (Sarkkinen) on October 11, 1997, and their proudest accomplishment was raising their daughter, Molly, enjoying her activities and welcoming her friends to their home.
Employed for many years in the computer programming industry, Jake was also a visionary, owning small businesses including Molly's Paintball and Heavy Metal Firearms. He was driven to build a better community no matter where he lived.
A man of many interests, he loved hunting, fishing, and the Packers. He also enjoyed ATVing, trapshooting, collecting guns, playing guitar, going to concerts, and was a lifelong multi-sport athlete.
His passion for sports extended into his love for mentoring young people of all ages, most recently this past school year as an assistant coach for the Rib Lake-Prentice Hawks football program, the Prentice baseball program, and the head coach for the Prentice Babe Ruth summer baseball program. He also volunteered in the Prentice school weight room and worked with any student he could on proper form and safety, to encourage good practices for long-term fitness.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica; daughter, Molly; and future son-in-law, Elliot Templin; his mother, Robin; brothers Scott, Matt (Sara), and Dale (Laurie); brother-in-law, Josh (Nikki) Sarkkinen; sisters-in-law, Stef (Josh) Jones, and Stacy (Troy) Smith; and half-sister, Tammy (Neil) Johnson; nephews and nieces, Nick Floyd, Tanner Andreae, Zach Andreae (godson), Kendra (Jon) Hahn, Thomas Andreae, Tyler Andreae, Logan Sarkkinen, Nolan Sarkkinen, Gavin Jones, Owen Sarkkinen, Ryder Jones, Ledger Jones, Grace Lynn Smith, Barrick Jones, Hope Smith and Silas Smith; great-nephews and nieces, Hayden Floyd, Josh Hahn, Kolton Hahn, Jaxson Hahn, and Kenslee Hahn; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Kendall.
In lieu of flowers, an athletic leadership scholarship fund will be established in Jake's name, to benefit the student athletes of the Prentice School District.
The celebration of Jake's life will be held Friday, July 23, from 5-8 PM in the Prentice School east gym. There will be no formal service, but rather, an open mic for any expressions of Jake's impact through music, stories, and memories.
"When I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn. Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that I'm lookin' down on you smilin', and I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back." When I'm Gone - Eminem
