Jerry Price

Jerry A. Price, age 70, Tomahawk, passed away July 4, 2010 at his residence under home hospice care. Jerry was born November 19, 1939 in Rosendale, the son of Glen and Helen (Holterman) Price. Jerry was raised in Fond du Lac, where he was a 1957 graduate of Goodrich High School, and married Peggy Warner on June 29, 1963. Jerry was formerly employed with Service Motors in Fond du Lac. He and Peggy moved to Tomahawk in 1973, when he then went to work as service manager for the former Ford Garage. He later owned and operated Jerry's Self Serve in Tomahawk for 8 years, and most recently worked for Calhoun's Garage and Nelson's Grocery Store. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1958 - 1962. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, and enjoyed woodworking, 4 wheeling, and spending time with his grandkids. Survivors include: Wife Peggy Price Tomahawk Daughters Lisa (Ben) Schade Becky (Dan) Daigle both of Tomahawk Grandchildren Beau Van Strydonk and Maya Daigle Jerry is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and best friend - his cocker spaniel, Cash. A Memorial Service for Gerald Price will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010 from Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Rebecca Peters will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m. Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorials are appreciated to Grace Lutheran Church or Ministry Home Hospice.
