Tomahawk

Jessie John Tobias, 49, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at his home. Jessie was born July 23, 1974 in Merrill the son of Cornelius Haring and Patsy Tobias. He was united in marriage on August 8, 2009 to his best friend of 27 years, Heather Kronstedt.

Jessie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. A special, kindhearted man, who was always there for anyone who needed help.

Jessie was very mechanically inclined- whether it was working on vehicles, bikes or anything that had a motor. He could fix anything. He was also an amazing artist, always sketching, drawing, or creating one-of-a-kind pieces. His talent as an artist really shined during Halloween, from carving pumpkins, to creating costumes and building haunted trails for all to enjoy.

Jessie enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing in dart leagues over the years and spending time with his family at the lake, especially tubing.

He was previously employed in the maintenance department at Lactalis USA for over 10 years. Currently he was working with Conrad Construction and could build anything he put his mind to.

Surviving are his wife of 15 years, Heather Tobias; daughters, Tiffany Orlikowski, Tomahawk, Madilynn Tobias, Tomahawk; son, Nathon Tobias (Shannon Lange), Tomahawk; three grandchildren, Bowlin, Jessie and River; and mother Patsy (Tobias) Haring, as well as extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who were like family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cornelius, sister, Gardenia Tobias and brother Michael (Fred) Reich.

Jessie will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched.

Private services will be held.
