Joel Jones

Joel "Joey" Jones, age 18, Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at his residence. Joey was born August 12, 1993 in Tomahawk. He was a caring and loving young man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Some of the things he enjoyed most were: visiting with friends and loved ones, and always being there when his great grandpa needed him. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and listening to music. Survivors include: Parents Connie and Ron Harkness Tomahawk Andy (Jenny) Jones Wausau Sisters Angela Schoone Tomahawk Daisy, Nevaeha, and Baily Jones Wausau Step sisters Roni Jo Harkness Tomahawk Hillary (David) Jones Appleton Grandparents Cindy and Leo Crowell Tomahawk Howard and Vickie Krahn Tomahawk Robert and Marilyn Harkness Tomahawk Sharon "Nanny" Jones Tomahawk Great grandparents Don and Rose Smith Tomahawk Aunts Luann (Kenny) Krahn Gleason Lola (Rory) Radtke Tomahawk Joey is further survived by good friends and cousins - Shawn "Pee Wee" Smith and Dustin Smith, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather - Glen "Papa" Jones, grandparents Howard and Norma Krahn, great great grandparents Ray and Marie Jones, and great uncle Randy Smith. Funeral Services for Joel "Joey" Jones will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Rebecca Peters will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
