John Anderson, age 85, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at his home on Roosevelt Street under the care of Ministry Home Hospice.
John was born on June 28, 1930 in Tomahawk to Sever & Clara Anderson. He was born with cerebral palsy and didn't walk until the age of 5. From the time he was born, the odds were against him. John was very active in the Tomahawk Historical Society and at Grace Lutheran Church. He was the treasurer of Tomahawk for 30 years. John was an avid reader and enjoyed cribbage games.
John is survived by:
Wife Pat Anderson of Tomahawk
2 Sisters Carol (Robert) White of Tomahawk
Judy Anderson of California
He is further survived by his niece and nephews, Sever Anderson, Sharon (William) Handy & David White; his great nephew, Isaac Orin; great niece, Eleanore Webb; and his dog, Shadow.
