John Leonard Polaski

John L. Polaski, age 87, a resident of Arbor Vitae, WI, passed away with his daughter at his side on April 29, 2024, at Friendly Village in Rhinelander, WI. He was born February 1, 1937, to parents Leonard and Mary Polaski. John met the love of his life Nancy Cadwell, and they married May 2, 1959. He worked in sales in the Beloit, WI area. They moved to Richland County in 1976. In 2005 they retired to the Minocqua area. He loved to fish, hunt, and watch all kinds of sporting events. He was preceded in death by his parents; parent in laws; wife: Nancy; son: John A. Polaski; son in law: Dean Jewell; sister: Jane Weber; grandsons: Todd and Kirk Jewell. He is survived by his children: Julie Jewell of Richland Center, WI, Matt Polaski of Oxnard, CA; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister: Mollie Podwell of Beloit, WI; other relatives and many friends.  

Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Richland Center Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the hospital staff at the Marshfield Medical Center in Minocqua and The Friendly Village Nursing and Rehab staff for the excellent care given to John during his time spent there.
