John "Jack" Schoone, age 67, of N9940 Gouda Road, Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly Saturday while hunting in the Harrison Hills. Jack was born February 25, 1942 in Tomahawk to Peter C. and Stella Schoone. He was a lifelong Harrison area resident. He served in the US Army from 1967 until 1969 and later in the Army reserves until 1971. He was married to Shirley Anderson on July 11, 1970 in Harrison. Jack was a mason, working the last 10 years for Paul Renn Masonry. Jack loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Jack is further survived by 4 Granddaughters, Elizabeth, Ashley, Angela, and Cassidee and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Patricia and a brother, Andrew.
Funeral Services for Jack Schoone will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Augustine Catholic Church in Harrison. Fr. Ronald Serrao will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m.
