John Schreffler

John G. Schreffler, age 88, N9740 Zenith Tower Road, Tomahawk, passed away January 8, 2008 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. John was born April 28, 1919 in the Town of Wilson to the late Ben and Elizabeth Schreffler. John was a retired woodsman. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946 in North Africa and France. Survivors include: 3 Brothers Ted Schreffler of Ely, Minnesota George Schreffler of Orlando, Florida Harold Schreffler of Tomahawk John is further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers - Burdett "Bud" Schreffler and Bruce Schreffler. Funeral Services for John Schreffler will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2008 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place in the spring at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
