Judith "Judi" Beller

January 12, 1953 — February 19, 2025

Minocqua

Judith (Judi) Anderson Beller, age 72, passed away on February 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on January 12, 1953 to Gale & Lucille (nee Brunner) Anderson, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.

Judi was a life-long resident of Minocqua, having only left for a few years to the Chicago area until coming back and meeting the love of her life, Jim. They married on April 2, 1982 in a small but intimate ceremony. Later that year her son Mark was born, and her daughter Molly was born in 1984. She was a stay-at-home Mom until her kids went off to school, and was also a bookkeeper for many years, having worked for various businesses around the Minocqua area. She also pursued education at Nicolet College.

She was a very hands-on mother, traveling all over the state for Mark and Molly's various sporting events. She went to nearly every one of their games, and was one of the loudest in the crowd. She was also a nurturing soul, known for her great sense of humor and a laugh that could light up a room. Her ability to listen and provide care made her an exceptional confidante for friends and family alike.

Her interests were diverse; she found joy in watching and playing tennis, visiting Disney World, supporting her favorite football team, the Packers, and enjoying the company of friends. In her younger years, she loved to bask in the sun, but in her more recent years, you would often find her sitting out in her sunroom in Minocqua or on her lanai in Bradenton, FL, where they spent the past 20+ winters.

Above all, Judi valued her role as Grandma, a title she held dear to her heart. She loved spending quality time with her grandchildren—Jacob, Sam, Will, and Izzy—and would make every effort to connect with them, often reaching out via FaceTime when they weren't around. She loved reading them stories, going for stroller walks when they were little, and watching the older ones play sports. She was an incredible Grandma and the kids adored her, she couldn’t have loved them more. This profound love for her family was a defining characteristic of her life.

Judi is survived by her husband, Jim Beller; her son Mark (Jessica) Beller and grandsons Jacob, Sam, and Will; her daughter Molly (Matt) Urbanek and granddaughter Isabella; her sister Janis LeClair and sister-in-law Margo Anderson; and her brothers Gene (Jane) Anderson, Jerry (Nadine) Anderson, and John (Brenda) Anderson. She is also remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Judi is preceded in death by her parents Gale and Lucille Anderson, her sister Joan Hoffman, brother Jim Anderson, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Frank and Irene Beller, her brother-in-law Bob Beller, her brother-in-law Nick LeClair, and her nephew Jeff LeClair.

Judi's life will be celebrated with visitation on February 28, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 8950 County Hwy J, Woodruff, WI 54568.

She touched the lives of those around her and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May Judi's memory live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
