Judith M. Kurth

Judith Mae Kurth, age 76, passed away on April 29, 2016 in Minocqua, WI after a brave
battle with cancer. She was born on January 14, 1940 in Kewaunee, WI to Willis and Gladyce Stone.
Her childhood was spent in Kewaunee with her parents and siblings Kenneth, David, and
Paulann. She married William Kurth August 2, 1958 and they were married for 57 years.
Together they raised five children, William, Joseph, Bonnie, Elizabeth, and Benjamin. Judi
has said that her family defined her life. She was a business owner and ran a restaurant with Bill for 14 years. She was especially proud of receiving her Associate's degree in Mechanical Design at age 52, and her work as a technical illustrator designing heavy duty rescue vehicles and pumper fire trucks for Peirce Manufacturing after September 11th. She was an accomplished artist. Her painting and woodwork display her beautiful personality and love for family and nature. Judi touched so many lives with her sacrificial love, thoughtfulness, hospitality and creativity. She could listen to 'hearts speak' like no other.

She is survived by her husband William L. Kurth of Boulder Junction, WI; her children William G. (Kimberly) Kurth of Medford, MA, Joseph J. (Liz) Kurth of Manitowoc, WI, Bonnie
Kitzhaber of Schofield, WI, Elizabeth (Rich) Sorenson of Little Chute, WI, and Benjamin
(Taryn) Kurth of Chicago, IL; grandchildren William A. Kurth, Christopher Kurth, Nicole Kurth, Scarlett (Michael) Ruyle, Grace Kurth (Peter Schroeder), Joshua (Dana) Deppe, Jake Deppe, Casey Lacvkowski, Maxwell (Andrea) Sorenson, Jordan Sorenson (Austin Shrader), Ella Kurth, Ryan Kurth; great-grandchildren Amarah Connolly, Zion Kurth, Tallulah Kurth, Wilder Kurth, Kylah Deppe, Callen Deppe, and more on the way, all who love her dearly.

Memorial Services will be on Tuesday, May 3rd at 1:00 PM at Calvary Lutheran Church in Minocqua, WI with a Memorial Gathering from 12:00 Noon till time of service.

The Kurth family is setting up a Living Memory Garden for Judi at Snappy Creek through
the help of Northern Exposure Greenhouse in Boulder Junction, WI 715-385-2852.
