June Elizabeth Schiess

June Elizabeth Schiess, age 93 of Springstead, WI died on Monday, February 11th at Avanti Health and Rehab in Minocqua, WI. June was born on June 9, 1925 the daughter of Harold and Rose (Jariden) Plagge. She married George Schiess on February 29, 1960, he preceded her in death on October 27, 2017. June worked for Kickert Bus Service for many years.

June enjoyed quilting and loved nature and wildlife, especially the hummingbirds and cherished her dogs.

She is survived by her son Ronald (Debra) Reed and daughter Tracy (John Ashley) Schiess and by her beloved grandchildren: Ronald G., Amanda, James, Charles, Paul and Cyndi and by 9 Great Grandchildren: Lillian, Lukas, Addyson, Sawyer, Austin, Landon, Payton, Kinleigh and Colton.

June was preceded in death by her husband George, son John Reed, her 3 siblings: Leland, Elaine and Raymond and by her parents.

Upon her wishes, cremation took place and private family services will be held at a later date.
