June L. Double

We are saddened to announce, June L. Double, 53, of Mercer, Wisconsin, passed away on Aug. 27, 2020 at Seasons of Life Hospice house in Woodruff after a lengthy battle with COPD.
June was born April 15, 1967 in Wakefield, Michigan to Robert E. and Geraldine (Schmaltz) Anderson. She was raised and attended schools in Ironwood, Michigan. As an adult, June worked a variety of jobs. For many years she worked as a waitress and bartender which totally fit her personality. Her smile and quick wit were appreciated by all who knew her. Her great loves were her grandchildren, friends and the area where she lived (Mercer).
June is survived by her son, Martin D. Stein Jr.; daughter, Kassy L. Double; grandchildren, Abigail Tygard and Abel Stein; and sister, Joyce Broemmeling.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Geraldine; daughter, Melanie Stein; and sister, Judith Hebert.
A service will be held for June on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. at Nimsgern Funeral Home in Woodruff online condolences can be made at nimsgernfuneral.com
