Karen Jane Schwartz

Karen Jane (Webb) Schwartz, age 69 of St. Germain, WI died on Monday, September 7th at Riverview Health Services in Tomahawk, WI. Karen was born on June 25, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of James and Mary Jane Webb. Karen graduated from Brookfield East High School in 1969 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1981. She was employed at the following health care facilities in the Milwaukee area: St. Joseph’s Hospital, Quality Care Home Nursing, GE Medical Systems MRI lab and Heritage Nursing Home.
Karen was very active in Girl Scouts of America, the Waukesha YMCA and La Leche League and she enjoyed the following activities; crocheting, stained glass, sewing and dress making, jewelry making, stamp collecting, camping, fishing, traveling, motorcycling and scuba diving.
Karen is survived by her husband of 49 years Thomas E. Schwartz of St. Germain, WI and by daughters Amanda (Andrew) Janosik of Menasha, WI and Kelly Schwartz of Neenah, WI and by grandchildren Lyla Mariahazy, Evalyn Mariahazy and Aiden Janosik and by her brother Dennis (Sue) Webb.
She was preceded in death by her father James B. Webb on May 21, 2005 and her mother Mary Jane Webb on August 6, 2019.
Memorial Gathering for Karen will be held on Friday, September 25th from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI.
