KAREN LIND
Karen Jennie Lind, 74, Prentice, died in the Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau on Thursday, July 18, 2019. She was born Karen Asp to Otto and Pearl (Klep) Asp in Chicago, Illinois, on October 12, 1944. She was married to Francis Oliver Lind in Chicago, Illinois, on February 13, 1964. She was a member of Saint John Lutheran Church of Phillips, and was active as an organist at local Lutheran Churches. In her free time she enjoyed taking care of her pets, attending garage sales, reading, cooking and baking, and watching soap operas and SiFi movies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis, on January 28, 2018; and is also preceded in death by one daughter, Kristina Buros.
Private family funeral services will be held at the Heindl Funeral Home in Prentice with Pastor Glenn Sokolowski of Saint John Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in the Prentice Cemetery in Prentice.
