Kathleen Shirley Drossart

Kathleen Shirley Drossart, 87 of Lake Tomahawk, WI died Sunday, January 24th at the Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff, WI. Known as “Shirley” her whole life, she was born on September 22, 1928 in Rhinelander, WI the daughter of Frank and Ethel (nee Getchell) Tank. Shirley married Jerry Drossart on October 1, 1946.

After retiring from the work place, she and her husband enjoyed camping and traveling throughout Wisconsin and Ontario, Canada. Shirley’s favorite things in life were; tending to her flower gardens, having huge family get togethers at her house, and cooking, always concerned that you always had enough to eat. But most important thing in her life was all of her family.
She is survived by 3 Sons: Gary (Darcy) Drossart, Doug (Sandy) Drossart both of Lake Tomahawk, WI and Buck (Jan) Drossart of Minocqua, WI and by 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren and by her Sister, Marilyn Kuehl and many nieces, nephews and her Dog, Hunter.

Shirley was preceded in death by her Parents, Frank and Ethel Tank and by her Husband, Jerry and Brother, Frank Tank Jr.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 28th at 11:00 AM at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI with a visitation from 10:00 AM till time of service at the funeral home.
