KATHRYN DELACH
Kathryn Delach, 91, Melrose Park, Illinois, died in the Heritage House in Elgin, Illinois, on Friday, March 25. She was born in Colorado on May 26, 1924, the daughter of Mike and Helen (Yurich) Delach. She was raised in Phillips and was a 1942 graduate of the Phillips High School. The Zenith Corporation in Illinois employed her for over 40 years. She attended the Catholic Church in Melrose Park and was very active in her faith, which included visits to the Vatican.
She is survived by one sister, Rosalie (Jerry) Thompson, San Jose, CA; and by nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three sisters, Mary LaPorta , Eva Stec, and infant sister Sally; and by one brother, Mike Delach.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 2, at Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Gerald Hagen celebrating the Funeral Mass. Interment will be in the Saint Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
