Kathryn LaPointe

Kathryn (Zydzik) LaPointe, age 77, a resident of Phillips, WI, passed away March 7, 2025, at Park Manor Nursing Home. She was born April 22, 1947, in Shell Lake, WI, to parents Frank and Marilyn Zydzik. Kathryn graduated from Phillips High School. She married the love of her life Robert LaPointe on April 12, 1969.

Kathryn worked for United Airlines for many years, then at the American Cancer Society before her retirement. She was involved with Friends of Fred Smith for a number of years.

Her favorite hobbies were beading and scrapbooking. She made many fine pieces for her family and friends, who cherish them to this day.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Frank Jr., Jerry Zydzik. She is survived by her loving husband: Robert; siblings: John, Jim, Ed Zydzik; nephews: Travis, Bradley Zydzik; great nephews: Sawyer, Tanner, Riley Zydzik.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11:00am, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Phillips, WI. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the Mass.
