Katie Voelker

Katie L. Voelker, age 25, W5301 Stonewood Rd., Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009 at her residence. Katie was born December 27, 1983 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Ronnie and Nancy (Pautz) Voelker. She was a 2002 graduate of SPASH. S he was employed with security at PCA in Tomahawk, and also part-time with Sacred Heart Hospital as an EMT. Katie enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, golfing, volleyball, hunting, and playing darts. Survivors include: Parents Ron & Nancy Voelker Tomahawk 2 sisters Sara (Bill) Wolosek Rhinelander Lindy (Jim) Shortell Vesper 1 brother Dean (Paula) Voelker Plover Maternal grandmother Dorothy Pautz Stevens Point Katie is further survived by 3 nieces, 3 nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by Lester & Mae Voelker and Floyd Pautz. A Memorial Service for Katie Voelker will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services at 3:00 p.m. Memorials are appreciated to D.A.R.E.
