Kaye Bernarde

Kaye L. Bernarde, age 62, of N8718 Bridge Rd, Tripoli, passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, July 24, 2008 at her home. She was born Feb. 1, 1946 in Tomahawk to Francis and Winifred Townsend. Kay married Kenneth J. Bernarde on Feb. 1, 1964 in Tomahawk. Kaye had been employed for the Tomahawk School District as a secretary and bookkeeper for 38 years. In her free time, she enjoyed working outside and spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include: Husband, Ken Mother, Winifred Townsend Tomahawk 2 sons, Kurt (Nancy) Bernarde Jay (Julie) Bernarde both of Tomahawk Sister, Karen (Jim) Richards Tomahawk Kaye is further survived by 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Lisa, Jesse, and Andrew and 2 great-grandsons, Clayton and Ryan. Funeral services for Kaye Bernarde will be held at 11:00 Monday at the Krueger & Sons Funeral Home. Deacon Dave Bablick will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 4:00 until 8:00p.m. and again on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00. Burial will follow at the Spirit Falls Cemetery.
