Kelly Johnson

Kelly Johnson 61 of Minocqua,Wi was taken from us too soon on March 22nd 2025. Kelly was a free spirit that lived by her own rules and always lived for today. Kelly lived in Florida several times in her life and in 2020, she reconnected with her fiancee Bill Absher. Kelly loved her life with Bill in Florida and enjoyed the hot beach life. Kelly returned home to Minocqua just 6 weeks prior to her death.

Kelly will be most remembered for her amazing sense of humor and her ability to turn any situation into a bout of laughter.

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents James & Emily Johnson.

Kelly is survived by her fiancee William Absher, her siblings Jacqueline Handrick (Michael Bruette), Karen Beyersdorf, Rebecca (Brooks) Litz and Margaret ( Charles) Olsen. She is further survived by her nephews Jute Handrick, Gavin Litz and Aidan Litz and her nieces Rebecca Beyersdorf and Rachel Beyersdorf and by her great nieces Aubrie Handrick and Millie Handrick.

Memorial Gathering for Kelly will be held on Monday, March 31st from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff, WI.
