Kenneth A. Gustafson, 50, Brantwood died on Thursday Morning December 31, 2015, at the Season of Life Hospice House, in Woodruff surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 5, 1965, in Tomahawk, the son of Harvey and Donna (Kjeseth) Gustafson. He was a lifelong resident of the Brantwood area. He attended and graduated from Prentice High School, Class of 1983.
He was employed as a logger for his entire working career. He worked for Gustafson Logging for a number of years before branching out as an independent logger
operating Kenneth Gustafson Logging. He continued logging until ill health forced him to retire. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and the outdoors especially his “hobby farm”.
He is survived by 1 son: James (Elizabeth) Gustafson, by his Father Harvey Gustafson,
All of Brantwood, by 1 sister: Deb (Todd) Brastad, Minneapolis, Minn., by 1 special niece Lilly, and by his maternal grandmother Myrna Brown, Amery, Wi. and by many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends..
He was preceded in death by his mother Donna Gustafson in 2004.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 4, 2016, at the Ogema Baptist Church, with Pastor Rodney Price officiating. Interment will be in the Clifford Finlander Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. on Monday at the church until the time of the service.
A memorial fund has been established.
The Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice is in charge of the arrangements.
