Kenneth D. Danielson, 82, of Prentice, WI, died on April 21, 2023, at Riverview Health Service, in Tomahawk, WI.
He was born on June 16, 1940, the son of Carroll and Edna (Kroon) Danielson on the families homestead in Ogema.
Kenny attended Prentice High School and pursued his career in tool and die in St. Paul, Minnesota.
He married Delores E. Anderson on January 7, 1960, in Phillips. He was a lifelong resident of the Prentice area. Delores and Kenny had 3 children, Carmel, Rian, and Brenda.
Kenny worked for Leo Heikinnen for many years before working for and retiring from Marquip. He finished his career as a Research and Development Consultant Engineer, working with his best friend, Carl Marshke.
He loved to fish, hunt, teach his son to trap, and was a lifelong member of the sportsman club. He spent many Sundays devoted to his family. He took pride in his children, spoiling Brenda as she would always call him her "papa Duke". He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
He was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Tomahawk.
He is survived by 3 children: Carmel Provo, Maple Grove, Mn., Rian (Tammy) Danielson, Boulder Junction, Wi., and Brenda (Bob Schmitt) Danielson, Rib Lake, Wi., by 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; siblings, Dorothy, Lorraine, Margie, and infant brother, Curtis.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the Heindl Funeral Home, 761 South Street, Prentice, with Pastor Eric Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Ogema, at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4pm - 8pm on Thursday at the Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice, and again at 9:30 am on Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
