Kenneth L. Lee Crass

Kenneth "Ken" L. Crass, age 64, of Skananwan Lake Road in Irma, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital in marshfield. He was born on March 29, 1943 to Edward and Grace Crass. He was later married to Judith Welch on August 27, 1966 at Berean Baptist Church in Tomahawk; she survives. Ken worked for Owens-Illinois in Tomahawk for 20 years logging. He then farmed on the family farm for the remainder of his life. He enjoyed hunting, going on car rides, working in the woods, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his Wife, Judith Crass of Irma, 4 Daughters, Grace Crass of Irma, Barbie (Keith) Wilmot of Rhinelander, Sherrie (Jerry Thurs) Crass of Irma, and Teresa (Roland) Slagle of Belvedere, Illinois, 2 Brothers, Edward Dale Crass and Glenn Crass, both of Irma, 1 Sister, Judith Jones of Irma, 6 Grandchildren, Isaac, Casey, Kaitlynn, Tonya, Jason and Danny, and 5 Great Grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by his Parents, Edward and Grace Crass. Funeral Services for Kenneth L. Crass will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 11 AM from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Irma, with Rev. Mark Schoenherr to officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 10 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Visitation continues on Wednesday at the church from 10 AM until the time of services at 11. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in the town of Skanawan.
