KENNETH HOLOUBEK
Kenneth Mathew Holoubek, 61, Town of Hackett, Phillips, died at his home on Wednesday, August 3. He was born in Phillips on November 27, 1954. He was a 1973 graduate of the Phillips High School, and then attended and received an Associates Degree from North Central Technical Institute. He was employed by Peabody Testing as a Welding, Silo, and Bridge Inspector. And then in 1977 returned to Price County where he joined in the operation of the family farm. He was a member of Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, was active in 4H as a young man, served on the Equity Board of Directors for many years, and is a member of Price Electric Company Community Advisory Board. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, snowmobiling, was a member of the pool league, and enjoyed playing smear.
He is survived by his parents, Stanley and Adela of Phillips, by one sister, Beth (Daniel) Bryan, Phillips, by one brother, Mark, River Falls, WI; and by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 9, at 11:00 A.M., with Father Gerald Hagen and Deacon James Celba celebrating the Funeral Mass. Inurnment will be in the Saint Patrick Cemetery in Phillips Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
