Kent Populorum

Kent Lee Populorum, age 84, passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 1, 2023, at Rib
Lake Health Services under the care of Hope Hospice. He was born in Aurora, Illinois on April 27, 1938, to Glen Louis and Margaret Lucille (Barrett) Populorum.

He graduated from West Aurora High School in 1956 and married his high school
sweetheart Toni Ann (Troyer) Populorum in August of 1958. They had three sons and shared 64 years of marriage together. Kent was a lifelong auto mechanic and moved from Batavia, Illinois to Phillips, Wisconsin with his family in 1977 to open a small auto repair business and be closer to his other true love, the great outdoors. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and canoeing in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

Kent was preceded in death by son Steven. He is survived by his wife Toni, sons Glen (Sue),
Karl (Liza), grandchildren Nathan, Chad, Noah, and great grandson Mason.

There will be no formal services. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
