Kim (Lamer) White, age 53, Healy, Alaska (formerly of Tomahawk), passed away under home hospice care on Monday, October 3, 2011 at the home of her sister, Michele.
Kim was born April 4, 1958 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Lonn and Sharon (LeMay) Lamer. Kim was a 1976 graduate of Tomahawk High School, and graduated from the Nicolet College School of Nursing in 1985. She moved to Alaska in 1987, where she met and married Richard "Dick" White on March 28, 1987 in Wasilla. Kim was a Registered Nurse and Director of Risk Management with Aramark Parks and Destinations at Denali National Park in Alaska. She was the only woman ever to serve as president of the Healy Hockey Association. Kim loved her work, and was completely devoted to her family and grandchildren. The door to Kim's home was always open to all. She was a compassionate, loving person, and dearly loved to laugh.

Kim is further survived by 8 grandchildren, with the most recent addition being her grandson, Quinten, who was born on September 26, 2011.
Funeral Services for Kim White will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2011 from Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services at 4:00 p.m.
