Kyle Foster Kerr, 70, of Phillips, passed away on January 4, 2025 surrounded by family. Born on April 22, 1954 in Waukesha to Raymond and Grace Kerr. Kyle was one of nine siblings.
A simple man, Kyle received his high school diploma from Jefferson High School and entered the workforce. On September 8, 1984 Kyle married Carol Ann Platz of Menomonee Falls.
In 2001 Kyle and Carol moved to Phillips from their first home in Sullivan, where Kyle’s love of the great outdoors took root. There were many memories made fishing, snowmobiling the beautiful country trails, hunting their land and around the evening campfires. His love for the outdoors was something he shared with his family, leaving a mark on us that will never fade. We find comfort in knowing that Dad’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us and the land that he owned.
He is survived by his wife Carol, his son’s John (Sheila) and Jim (Theresa) and Daughter Stephanie (Dan). His grandchildren Isobel, Vivian, Trevor, Mackenzie, Sophia and Logan as well as many friends and extended family members will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Grace, and brothers Kevin and Thomas.
A celebration of life will be held on April 19, 2025 at 1 PM at Veterans Memorial Park in Sullivan, Wisconsin.
