Laura Marie Bruneau

Laura Marie Bruneau, age 94 of Hazelhurst, WI died on Tuesday, March 21st at her residence. Laura was born on July 3, 1922 in Frankfort, WI the daughter of Nicholas and Effie (nee Compeau) Schiltz. Laura married Theodore Bruneau on October 9, 1996 and he survives.
Laura was involved with the Dorcus Society and Hazelhurst Improvement Club and Laura enjoyed quilting, fishing, playing cards and camping with the grandkids.

She is survived by her Husband, Theodore “Ted” Bruneau and by 2 children: Gilbert (Sheila) Kettner, Jr. and Betty Junek and by her Step-children: John (Kathy) Bruneau, Tom (Carol) Bruneau, Michele (Mike) Etheridge, Julie (Jim) Dolnik and Patrice Bruneau. Further survived by her Grandchildren: Kurt (Angela) and Chris Kettner; Laurie Figueroa, Bill (Jenny) Rudis and Rick Junek and Great Grandchildren: Austen, Alyssa, Amara Kettner and Kaylee Kettner, Sophia Figueroa, Brook and Eliza Rudis and Suzy Burgess and her step grandchildren; and by 5 Great Great Grandchildren: Charles, Warren, Colyn, Dawson and Makenna Burgess.

Laura was preceded in death by her first husband, Gilbert Kettner Sr. and by 5 Brothers and 2 Sisters and by her Granddaughter; Becky Rudis, Son-in-law; Richard Junek, Daughter; Barbara Rudis and Son-in-law; Ralph Rudis and by Grandson-in-law; Nestor Figueroa.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 25th at 11:00 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church in Minocqua, WI with a visitation from 10:00 AM till time of service. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Hazelhurst, WI at a later date.
