Laurel "Laurie" J. Henrichs

Laurel “Laurie” J. Henrichs, age 68, a resident of Minocqua, WI, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. She was born January 21, 1955, in Wausau, WI to parents Edward and Patsy Genrich. Laurie earned her nursing degree from North Central Technical College. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 36 years. She retired from Howard Young Medical Center in 2014 after 30 years but worked prior to that at Sharpstown Hospital in Texas and Wausau Hospital. Laurie enjoyed cooking/baking, sewing, quilting, fishing, pontoon cruises, traveling, but most of all being involved with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Laurie is survived by her husband: David Henrichs whom she married on October 9, 1993; children: Sarah (Edward) Zeinert, Jennifer (Mark Lijewski) Ortwein; grandchildren: Brandon Zajac, Preston Zeinert, Andrew Zeinert, Breanna Zeinert; siblings: Robert (Dawn) Genrich, Ron Genrich; nieces and nephews: Jessica, Danny, Johnathan, Dustin, and numerous friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 17^th @ 12pm at Clear Lake Pavilion in Woodruff, WI (off of Hwy J)
